As you may, or may not know. A little German has many interests…not only drawing and coding. I also like to bake…soooo…What you’ll find here are recipes of all kind :
Pork Chops and Baked Potatoes w/ Quark Dip
What you need (for 2 people)
2 pork chops (or meat of choice)
6 potatoes
300g Quark
chives (fresh or dried)
salt
pepper
olive oil
garlic
First, the potatoes:
*Wash them and then cut them in two.
*Sprinkle a little salt on top of the potatoes
*put them in the oven (180 degrees Celsius) for around 15 to 20 minutes.
*Take the potatoes out of the oven and sprinkle with some oil
*Put them back in and leave them there for another 20 minutes (you can check if the potatoes are done by sticking a hole in them. If there is no or little resistance - they’re done)
The meat:
While the potatoes are in the oven, you can prepare the meat.
*Put some olive oil in a bowl, mix with salt, pepper, garlic and spices.
*Put the meat in the oil-spice-mix
*You should time the meat with the potatoes. Depending on how think the meat is, it may take between 5 and 12-ish minutes to be ready.
The Quark Dip:
Put the quark in a bowl, mix it with some salt and the chives. Stir. DONE.
For those of us who can actually bare to eat salad…go ahead and have some salad on the side.
