ABOUT ME

I am a little German, also called Tini Malitius, and I work as a freelance illustrator and web designer. I live in Bergen, Norway with my boyfriend, our awesome cat Herr Pusbær (Mr. Catberry) and my computer Roy.

Currently I am earning my MA-degree in “Digital Culture” at the University of Bergen, Norway. Where I specialize in User Interface- and Web Design.

As most others I like caffeine, Michael Palin, movies, plants, spaghetti, Monty Python, colors, and loads of other stuff.

Because I love bringing characters to life with a little color and a couple of strokes of the brush most of my work evolves around character design, but I create logos and illustrations for books, magazines, animations, web sites and greeting cards just as well.

My inspiration comes from old Lucas Arts Games, ye olde 60’s cartoons such as the Jetsons, newer cartoons such as  Ren & Stimpy and Dexter’s Lab, but also from my heroes William Hanna & Joseph Barbera (aka Hanna-Barbera) and Dave Perillo (who is so totally bestest). Last but not least  from movies such as “The Birds” and my all time favourite “Rear Window“, my friends & family, my awesome boyfriend Jan Frode (aka JFL JFL Kjempe godt!) and people’s odd quirks.
